Whitefire Sonnets:
Back in 2001 Steve Cote started a campaign which we've talked about ever since. In that campaign John James played a Dwarven Barbarian who was... A little off his kilter. Thinking himself a Bard, he composed the following anecdotes:
Her beard was full
Her Chest was hairy
She answered to the name
of dirty ole mary
She lived in the bush,
shagged in the reeds
knew how to answer
pure dwarven needs
We call him little tree
he travels with we
he uses his bow
and arrows they go
and stick in things.
Rocks and trees
Rocks and trees
Rocks and trees
and things.
No like Kragg
Can't kill kobold
No like Krag
Kobold lover
Kragg, thinker & little trees,
with Hennet praying
on his knees
Travel to the swamp
to play
Look for boo and gem
today
Found a man
he left head bare
with all the
world there to
stare at his
bare foot
Beware the man who openly trades jests
with wooden posts.
Beleg did kick
when the air was thick
with the after math of battle
His mind had grew din with the
endless din
and he'd attacked a friend with arrows
In blinding rage withdrew his
attack and marched to the fallen man
Before he knew he'd kick the fool,
into an early grave.
Hennet is a goode lord
ben-e-vo-lent
Hennet wants to save us
no money to be spent
Hennet need to lead us
He knows where we to went
Hennet really loves us
and wants us to repent
Hennet will lead me to Heronius
'Cause I can't find the map
He say's it'll lead to salvation
and gives Silas a reason to talk
He wants my soul to be bigger
